Indo- French glances
Alliance Française de Trivandrum in association with the French Embassy in India organises an exhibition of photographs titled ‘Regards Croisés / Indo- French glances Chandigarh- Firminy’ by Diwan Manna and Michel Dieudonné, at Art Gallery, Alliance Française de Trivandrum. As Chandigarh and Firminy share a common Le Corbusier background, the two cities would profit from a closer collaboration on a cultural, educational and tourist field. Diwan Manna has captured the city of Firminy in his camera while a photographer from Firminy, Michel Dieudonné captured Chandigarh on his. The exhibition, which is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., is on till July 25.
Baby K. Paul, Head of the Department of Architecture, College of Engineering, will deliver a talk on the topic ‘Le Corbusier as an architect and planner’ at Alliance Française, at 10.30 a.m. on July 18.
